Water: Infinite Life!

During the energy renovation of the facility and the optimization of its operations, it was envisioned to dedicate a buffer tank for filling municipal vehicles (sweepers and washers).
There was no impact on the site because the space for the buffer tank had been clearly identified, and the installation costs were included in the overall renovation project. Unfortunately, the results are modest due to the pool's location and a lack of awareness about this installation. However, the system has also been implemented at a second aquatic facility in the metropolitan area, and it is hoped that this will revive interest in this type of installation.
Water renewal is a regulatory obligation that we cannot bypass, and every day water is discarded. A portion of this water, before it leaves the facility, is stored and made available to vehicles that keep our city clean. The aim is to stop filling street and sidewalk cleaning machines with fresh water, and instead use water that has already been used and can still serve a purpose before entering the wastewater cycle.
The discharged water is reused to clean the city, reducing waste and preserving drinking water by optimizing its usage cycle.

The system saved 140,000 m³ and €900,000. The goal is total water autonomy, with optimized quality monitoring via COTmètre.
40% reduction in electricity consumption for lighting, a 1 GWh decrease, and an increase in nighttime and event attendance from 5% to 20%.
Since 2013, every rescue has been a complete success. Since 2019, no major intervention has been necessary, a sign of effective vigilance.
