Guide for School Swimming Teachers

The Aquatic Center management decided to issue a guidance document following various feedback from teachers to the Mayor and the CPCs.
Highlighting the role of the MNS, the quality of their interventions, and the organization of teaching sessions in case of understaffing.
Document update at the end of 2025 after conducting a review meeting on school swimming with the 2 CPCs and the 20 school principals in June 2025.
Some primary school teachers might have felt apprehensive when implementing the 'classes bleues' (intensive swimming programs, 2 sessions per day over 1 week with CP students) or when the MNS requested the teacher's intervention during periods of understaffing.
The discharged water is reused to clean the city, reducing waste and preserving drinking water by optimizing its usage cycle.
