The implementation of an automatic and remote greasing system for heat recovery wheels (new or old) aims to improve their lifespan and reduce maintenance issues.
Implementing this system allows, among other benefits, for heat recovery wheels to be brought back into operation. This enables the Pool to achieve energy savings and extend the lifespan of its heat recovery wheels.
This innovation allows the operator to reduce maintenance costs, increase the lifespan of the wheel, reactivate idle wheels, and achieve energy savings. It also helps avoid a significant investment associated with replacing the wheel or installing a less efficient energy recovery system.
Currently, many swimming pools are equipped with wheels that are unfortunately immobilized due to a lack of maintenance, caused by the inaccessibility of bearings for greasing. In new projects, despite their efficiency, these wheels are often no longer recommended due to their estimated short lifespan (three years on average). The implementation of this system should therefore restore the heat recovery wheel's rightful place in swimming pools.
